Ant, mate, I’m out in Oz – Melbourne in fact. So what is the etiquette when given (and obviously already accepted) an invite to a Yarra Valley tour and wine tasting. The real question was “which wineries do you fancy visiting?” Where should I quietly but demandingly insist I get a tasting at? Where is simply too embarrassing to mention?
All ra best, Al.
(PS- urgent reply needed – this is Friday eve here and we are off on Sunday morning.)
(PPS – a quick google search found a tour guide company in the region …. called “the grape escape”. Call the lawyers. Sue the b*******ds.)
Sounds great! Yarra Valley isn’t a region I know particularly well but James Halliday (Oz’s answer to Bob Parker) rates Toolangi, Yarra Yering, de Bortoli and Innocent Bystander as the best wineries in the area, along with Chandon if you fancy some fizz. Have fun wherever you end up!!
